Blogs in education - Exciting!

There are so many ways blogs can be used to engage students. Not only can you share important and interesting information with your students, but you are offering them a way to participate in a very different way than they have traditionally been used to. I think this is a great idea for those students who need a new approach to learning. In allowing them to use technology, they may even think it's fun! Using blogs to post assignments, websites, and allowing feedback/concerns is also a great way to give both students and parents a ready reference to what is expected and offered in the curriculum.
